Ofelya Petrossyan
Principal of the School

She is a Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer, Honorary Professor of the Armenia Subsidiary of the International Academy of Nature and Society. In 1985 Ms Petrossyan completed secondary school with gold medal and in 1990 she graduated from the Department of Philology of Gyumri Pedagogic Institute with first-class honours. From 1990 to 1993 Ms Petrossyan completed her postgraduate studies at Yerevan State University. Since 1991 she has taught in a number of higher education establishments. Ms Petrossyan is an author of 15 scientific publications.

Hasmik Khachatryan

Hasmik  graduated from the Yerevan State University in 1985, the Department of Chemistry. She has eighteen year working experience with children. In 2000 she has participated in the one-month training for elementary teachers organized by National Institute of Education. In 2004 she  participated in the training (1, 2, 3 grades) organized by “Kayl ar kayl” project. She is the main teacher in the first “Tsistsernak” class.

Eva Hasratyan

Eva graduated from the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan in 1973, the Department of Manuscripts and Library. She has twenty-seven year working experience with   children. In 2000 she  participated in the training organized by the Educational Improvement Center. She is the main teacher in the first “Artsvik” class.

Melita Toumanyan

In 1961 she graduated from the Armenia Subsidiary of the Pedagogic College named after N.Ostrovsky with the qualification of a primary school teacher. In 1970 Ms Toumanyan graduated from Kirovakan Pedagogic Institute (where she studied part-time) with the qualification of a secondary school teacher of the Armenian Language and Literature. She has a 47-year professional experience in teaching. Ms Toumanyan is a qualified teacher-methodologist. She has supervised training in drawing and mathematics and she is an author of a vast array of published articles. In 2006 Ms Toumanyan took part in a 30-hour training course for primary school teachers organized by the National Institute of Education. She is the main teacher in the third “Zatik”class.

Nelly Haroyan

Nelly  graduated from the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan in 1983, the Department of Education and Elementary Education Methodology. She has twenty-two year working experience with children. In 2006 she has participated in the trainings for elementary teachers organized by National Institute of Education. She is the main teacher in the fourth “Manushak” class.

Lilit Pivazyan

In 1997 she graduated from the University of International Relations named after A. Shirakatsy with the qualification of a Philologist, Translator/Interpreter and Teacher of the English Language and Literature. She has a 10-year professional experience in teaching. In 2006 Ms Pivazyan took part in a 30-hour training course for the teachers of the English language organized by the National Institute of Education. In 2007 she was enrolled in the New Assessment Project organized by the British Council in Armenia. Teacher of the English language.

Nelly Madoyan


In 1988 she graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Yerevan State University. She has a 11-year professional experience in teaching. In 2004 Ms Madoyan took part in a two-month training course for the teachers of mathematics organized by the National Institute of Education. Teacher of mathematics.

Gayaneh Torossyan


In 1985 she graduated from the Piano Department of Gyumri Music College named after Kara-Mourza. She has a 17-year professional experience in teaching. In 2006 Ms Torossyan took part in a 30-hour training course for teachers of music organized by the National Institute of Education. She is the supervisor of the music study group, teacher of music and piano.

Alina   Ghazaryan

In 2001 she graduated from Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. In 2000 Ms Ghazaryan was awarded the title of the Best Student of the Year. In 2006 she took part in a 30-hour training course for teachers of fine arts organized by the National Institute of Education. She is the supervisor of the creative study group. Teacher of fine arts.

Gevorg  Khachatryan


In 1981 he graduated from the Department of General Technical Studies and Physics of Armenia State Pedagogic University named after Kh. Abovyan with the qualification of a Secondary School Teacher of General Technical Studies and Physics. He has a 6-year professional experience in teaching. In 2006 Mr Khachatryan took part in a 30-hour training course for teachers of technical studies organized by the National Institute of Education. Teacher of handicraft and drawing.

 

Suren Ghukasyan

Suren studies at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan, specializes in the field of History. He is a History teacher.

Rima Gevorgyan

Rima  graduated from the Yerevan State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan in 1966, the Department of Geography. She has forty year working experience with children. In 1984 she was honored a certificate by the Yerevan educational committee and in 2006 was granted the title of  “The best teacher”. She is a geography teacher.

Larisa Stepanyan

Larisa  graduated from the Armenian Agricultural Institute in 1992, the Department of Agronomy. She has also graduated the State Architectural University, the Department of Social Studies with the specialization of Medical Cybernetics. Presently she is a fifth year student at the State Pedagogical University, the Department of Biology, Chemistry and Geography. She has fifteen year working experience with children. She is a chemistry and biology teacher.
